Uploaded Dataset Policy
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to upload and analyse any dataset submitted to ML Studio. You should avoid uploading personal data unless necessary, and you should not upload special category data unless this has been explicitly enabled and appropriate safeguards are in place.
Permitted uses
- Descriptive statistics, missing value treatment, feature engineering, binarization, regression model building, visualisation, statistical analysis, and report generation.
User responsibilities
- Have a lawful basis. Minimise personal data. Do not upload special category data without explicit enablement. Do not upload children's data without appropriate safeguards.
Retention defaults
- Guest demo uploads — deleted at session end or within 24 hours.
- Free user uploads — deleted after 7 days unless saved.
- Subscriber uploads — retained while project is active, with manual delete.
- Deleted accounts — data deleted or anonymised per retention policy.
Deletion controls
- Use the dataset list or your account privacy controls to delete uploads at any time.
